There will be a turkey prize awarded to a shooter for each five person round of trap. Each shooter will have 25 clay targets. Some clay targets will be green and some will be orange. The combination of just how many green or orange targets each shooter receives is up to luck, fate and in some cases your trust in GOD THE ALMIGHTY! The shooter who breaks the most GREEN clay targets wins the turkey prize. In the event of a tie score, the total broken birds, both green and orange will decide the winner. The cost to shoot on this day will be $5.00 dollars per round. For details contact Dan Welch at 508.274.8262.
December Holiday Christmas Party: This year’s club Christmas Party will be held on Saturday Evening, December 13, 2008. Our holiday-decorated clubhouse will be open at 6pm for appetizers and a roast beef dinner will be served at 7pm. Tickets this year will be $15 per person and children aged 7 to 12 will be $8 dollars. Any youngsters attending aged 6 and under will be admitted free of charge. All attendants are urged to also bring an UNWRAPPED toy to donate to the Marine’s Toys For Tots Organization. All contributions are distributed to a lesser privileged Cape Cod Youngster! Last year the club hosted over fifty holiday attendees and donated a pile of toys to the Marines and this very worthwhile organization. Members are urge to make contributions for the kids even if they cannot attend the Christmas Party. No kid should ever have a lesser Christmas if we can do our own part to help!
Until next month…Bob P. |
